Welcome to the Multimedia Skills page. Multimedia Skills is a class taught in the Middle School of the American School in Japan and is a one semester course for 7th and 8th grade students. The Fall 1999 semester is the first time the course has been taught since the fall of 1996. Needless to say, the technology has changed quite a bit since then! This course is for students who have skills equivalent to those taught in the Middle School Tech skills class and want to explore multimedia. Students will learn the basic technical skills of working with images and sounds and use them to create web pages. We do image work in LView ProŽ, web development in FrontPageŽ 2000, and we are still evaluating audio programs. The course overview and the course description give more information about the course. |
