Welcome to doing your portfolio assessment. There are three assessments for your portfolio:

  • Your assessment of your portfolio.
  • Your peers' assessment of your portfolio.
  • Your parents' or guardians' assessment of your portfolio.

You will assess both your portfolio and two of your peers using the rubric from the assignment for Explorations I students. If you are assessing Explorations II or III portfolios, compare their portfolio to the assignment. This assessment is due by the beginning of the day on Wednesday (B Day) or Thursday (A Day).

A major goal of this assessment is for you to think more deeply about your portfolio and whether you met all of the criteria.

  1. Please go to the CoWeb to see who you will assess.
  2. Put your three assessments on the portfolio assessment page. You will need to log in with your username and password. (You may see the assessments others have written for you on the Portfolio Reflections page.) Your peer assessments must be done before you leave class!
  3. Download the letter for your parents, show them your portfolio and ask them to fill out the sheet. Bring the sheet with you on Wednesday (B day) or Thursday (A day)

If you don't understand this or have questions, please contact me far enough in advance that you can finish this assessment on time.
